Once payment has been received via our online payment service provided by WORLDPAY you will receive an confirmation e-mail to your specified e-mail address confirming your order.

It is the customer's responsibility to notify us of any errors or changes required within 24 hours of receipt of confirmation.

It is the customer's responsibility to advise us of non-receipt of the confirmation e-mail.

The customers confirmation e-mail will show a proof of the customer designed sign, the final product may differ slightly from that shown in the proofed image due to fabrication limitations.

MANUFACTURE

Any colours, shapes and sizes may differ from that shown on the website due to visual translation from real products and the use of natural materials. Also note, that images shown in the design feature are computer generated images, and cannot always show a true representation of the natural stone or brushed metals due to digital limitations.

All sizes quoted are approximate.

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that their substrate, shape, layout, text, and font are correct before proceeding to payment.

We reserve the right to alter the customers designed sign if we feel production may be hindered due to sizing or layout limitations.

If a bespoke size sign is selected, to ensure stability of the sign itself, we may need to drill 4 holes in the sign and supply four fixings. If you do not want us to do this, please advise us before manufacture.

Laser engraved slate signs are a natural product and as such the engraving colour will vary between 'grey' and 'off white', in addition, the slate sign engraving will darken with prolonged water exposure but will return to it's original color once dried. We are able to seal the slate signs in order to avoid this happening, please advise if you require this free service on purchase.

Add your own image to Ceramic Plaques: We can apply almost any image onto your ceramic house sign. Just select the option to add image in the “Choose your template” stage of the designer. This will show a “Your Image” preview which will allow you to adjust the layout to suit your design. An additional bespoke image charge of £15.00 will be added to the standard price upon choosing this option.

Once your order is complete, please send your required image in as high quality as possible via email (info@designyourhousesign.com ) for us to begin production. Please note that the location and size of the “Your Image" preview will be the location your image is applied to the sign. Please supply your image in any of the following formats; JPG, PNG, EPS or PDF.

We reserve the right to crop any images to help in the manufacture of your house sign. We cannot be held liable for any images subject to copyright and you should seek permission for the use of the image first.

Our Individual numbers and letters and manufactured from an Aluminium composite panelling 3mm thick. The metal composite consists of 3 layers of materials, two aluminium faces (back and front) and a rubber composite core. We can supply these routed characters in either a solid colour or a brushed metal effect.

Each letter is routed using precision tooling techniques on a CNC machine.

Upon purchasing our routed letters and numbers, we offer choice of fixing method; Sticky pads, Adhesive kit or Snap Fix Fittings. Please note that if snap fix fittings are selected, it is the customers responsibility to select the correct amount required. We recommend 3 fixings per letter and have advised of this in the sign designer.

If to little fixings have been requested then we will not be able to adhere the fixings to the reverse of the letters and will be supplied individually.”

PAYMENT

All payments received are dealt with by WORLDPAY which is part of the RBS group.

All credit card numbers are encrypted when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption SSL Secured.

No customer credit card numbers are either viewed or store.

VAT

As our website vistors are both public and commercial customers all prices stated are inclusive of VAT at the current rate of 20%.Please refer to your confirmation e-mail for a VAT invoice.

DISPATCH

All items are usually dispatched within 10 working days, If we are unable to dispatch within the stated time frame we will contact you with an estimated dispatch date.

Dispatch will be to the specified delivery address and once signed for will become the sole responsibility of the customer.

UK orders that have not been received within 15 business days after dispatch should be reported to us directly and we will endeavour to track the order. Please do not report an item missing until 15 business days has expired from dispatch.

International orders that have not been received within 30 business days after dispatch should be reported to us directly and we will endeavour to track the order. Please do not report an item missing until 30 business days has expired from dispatch.

Courier options - If you have specified use of any of the following postage options below, please see below terms of each service provided;

• Royal Mail 3-5 Days: Production will take up to 10 working days, item is then despatched with Royal Mail 48 service which usually takes 3-5 working days.
• Tracked Courier 24 Hour: Production will take up to 10 working days, item is then despatched with a next day courier service.
• Express 48 Hour Production and Despatch: Production and despatch will be completed within 48 hours

SHIPPING

All items are shipped using Royal Mail recorded service which requires a signature.

If an item is returned due to attempted delivery, the customer will be charged an additional fee to cover return costs.

All postal costs are specified on payment and in our FAQ section.

RETURNS

All our signs are individually personalized to the customers requirements and as such they are not eligble for return, refund or exchange so please read our product description and view our extensive gallery images to ensure your material and sign writing process is as required.

We may require photographic evidence or ask that the product is returned to us for further investigation by ourselves or the postal services if either damage in transit or faulty goods are claimed.

We will only accept signs returned to us that have not being installed and notification of the error was made within 24 hours from receiving the faulty goods.

Goods received damaged in transit will be replaced as soon as we are notified to the same specifications as the original order.

CANCELLATION

We reserve the right to cancel the contract at any time.

Each sign will be made to the customers specification.

designyourhousesign.com will not be responsible for any spelling mistakes or typographical errors made by the customer.

If your order is not manufactured to your instructions you have a right to cancel the contract, return the goods at the customers expense and receive either a full refund or replacement goods.

GUARENTEE

All of our signs carry a 12 month warranty.

Any claim under our guarantee must be supported with visual evidence prior to any settlement being authorized.

PRIVACY POLICY

designyourhousesign.com will not disclose buyers information to any third parties nor store any sensitive information.

Cookies are used on our website to keep track of the contents during your sale.

LEGAL

The customer shall indemnify and keep indemnified Ebox Media Ltd and www.designyourhousesign.com against all claims, costs, demands and expenses against the Company or any of its employees, howsoever incurred, arising out of the printing or distribution by the Company of any matter that is or may be unlawful, criminal, tortuous or libellous, or that infringes or may infringe any copyright, patent or design.

We shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance.

The Contract will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties to the Contract submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.

None of the above Terms and Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.
